Hi all,
I would like to install VDCF on Solaris11.3, but i get the following error in /var/tmp/vdcf_install.log:
You are running SQlite 3.8.8.1 2015-1-20 16:51:25 f73337e3e289915a76ca96e7a05a1a8d4e890d55. VDCF requires SQlite 3.7.2 checkinstall script suspend.
How it's possible to downgrade SQlite to 3.7.2 with pkg on Solaris11?
Many thanks.
Regards, Marco

Hi Marco VDCF is tested with SQlite 3.7.2. It's not the idea to use the SQlite delivered with Solaris 11. VDCF includes the required SQlite 3.7.2 in the Prerequisite File.
Did you install the VDCF Prerequisite packages and SQlite failed to install?
Best regards, Marcel

Hi Marcel
Ah okay. So, where can i download the install_vdcf_prereqs? I was able to download the vdcf_free_5.6.2_i386.tar file on your webpage.
I'm going to install vdcf on a virtualbox-machine to test and play with vdcf.
Many thanks.
Regards, Marco

Hello Marco
It looks like you have in /usr/local/bin an sqlite which links to OS-SQlite Is there a link to /usr/bin/sqlite3 in /usr/local/bin ? This link would be overwritten with the SMCsqlite PKG
JSvdcf-base checks if the /usr/local/bin/sqlite3 exists and if it is the right version
You can download the vdcf_prereqs from: mauss://jomasoft.ch/products/VDCF/download/index5-free.html
At the bottom of the page: Packages for sparc i386 (new for VDCF 5.0, Last updated 09/2015)
